Rules of DROP

Goal: First to 5 Drops wins the match.

Turn Order: You play face up first. House sees your card, then plays second.

House AI:

  • If it can beat you (higher number, or INFINITY vs a number), House plays the lowest card that still wins.
  • Else House plays its lowest card.
  • If the Bucket has 3+ cards, House prefers a card that wins!

The Deck (24 Cards):

  • Number cards: four copies each of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (20 cards).
  • Special cards: four INFINITY (∞) cards that beat any number.

Resolution & Bucket:

  • Higher card scores +1 Drop.
  • INFINITY beats any number. Two INFINITY or equal numbers = tie.
  • INFINITY SLAP: Playing an INFINITY triggers an instant card scale-up, violet flash, and short click!
  • Ties: Both cards go into the center BUCKET.
  • Bucket Claim: The next non-tie winner claims the hand (+1 Drop) plus an extra +1 Drop bonus for taking the Bucket!
  • Talking Bucket: Speaks when cards enter (“filling…”, “getting full”) and when claimed (“the bucket never empties”).
  • House Tell: If House holds INFINITY, one card back glints for 0.4s at the start of the turn.
